This Sunday, Kieran Michael Lalor, Candidate for NYS Assembly will Appear on Sunday Night Live to discuss his candidacy for NYS Assembly. Lalor, a US Marine Veteran will also discuss his published book, "This Recruit: A First Hand Account of Marine Corps Boot Camp Written While Knee Deep in Mayhem." Our resident Music Curmudgeon, Harry Tucker will be featuring another all request show this Sunday, August 26th at 8pm EDST. "last weeks show was filled with numerous requests from our listeners, we decided to do a second show of all requests" Says the gray-haired curmudgeon from the sanctity of his palatial listening room from his home. "It sure makes my life easier knowing what the listeners are into listening to."

This weekend's Sunday Night Live will be focusing on the 43rd Anniversery of Woodstock, held in Bethel, New York back in 1969. Hosted by Phil Laskorski and Gene Garnes, the program will feature music by groups who appeared at Woodstock along with some groups who should have been there as well as interviews with those who attended the Iconic Concert. For those who want to learn more about the hippie/peace movement and the major shakers and movers of the era, this is the program to listen into.
Damage due to a thunderstorm in May has finally been completely repaired and WBXO - FM has returned to the air as of July 13th. On May 29th, a fast moving thunderstorm hit Beekman, and the studio's and transmitter received significant damage when lightning struck the building housing WBXO AM and FM, damaging sensitive equipment and the FM transmitter. While AM and internet operations were not affected by the lighting hit, the FM transmitter was damaged along with equipment in Master Control.
This Sunday Night, the crew of Sunday Night Live will be paying tribute to the men and women at Wingate at Dutchess, a rehab facility located in Fishkill, New York. WBXO's Sunday Night Co-Host, Gene Garnes was admitted there as a patient in the rehab unit after undergoing emergency surgery back on June 19th. Reaction among the staff was mixed; "Its amazing" said WBXO Radio's Phil Laskorski, "he went from being a total vegetable, lying a bed to once again being mobile; I only hope with him being able to move around he didn't pester the nurses too much".
WBXO Radio will be signing off at 12midnight on May 20th for routine transmitter maintenance until 3am NY Time and then we'll be back with more of your favorite Classic Rock Music.
